Welcome to Dinner Barcode!

Dinner restaurant & bar will expand with a new department in Barcode! Dinner opens in Nodee Barcode’s old premises, at Dronning Eufemias gate 28.

The opening is celebrated with the Mid-Autumn Festival from 3 – 8 October at Dinner Barcode. The Mid-Autumn Festival or Mid-Autumn Festival is one of China's biggest holidays. The celebration of the Mid-Autumn Festival began over 3,000 years ago in the Shang Dynasty. The moon has a central place in the celebration and the festival is therefore also called the Moon Festival.

An important part of the celebration is gathering family and friends to admire the moon, hang lanterns and enjoy each other's company.

For the occasion, the new Dinner Barcode has put together a very special 7-course menu that honors Chinese food and traditions. To accompany this menu, the restaurant serves moon cake for dessert. This is a very important part of the Mid-Autumn Festival, as it symbolizes the longing for loved ones, hometown, relatives and friends. The cake is also used to wish each other a good harvest and happiness for the time to come. The menu is NOK 569 per person.
