Things to do in Oslo with children

There is plenty to do in the area for the whole family. Below we have gathered some tips on what you can do with children.

Explore and use your imagination at MUNCH

At MUNCH, a lot of exciting things are happening for children. Visit the brain maze on the 11th floor, which is a large and winding maze in brown, curly cardboard. Here the children can disappear in, and among other things write and draw on the walls, play games, explore on their own, and crawl into a dark cave. The brain maze is inspired by our brain and by Munch's experimental working methods. Let the kids explore and use their imagination! There are also other fun activities at MUNCH such as baby shows, children's art day and inspiring workshops.

A day at the beach

There are many places to bath in the area. One of the best bathing places for children is the Opera Beach which is located between the Opera and MUNCH. This is a sand beach that makes it easy for even the little ones to bath, while they can play in the sand and on the grass right behind. You will also find some play racks here where they can explore and play in between bathing.

The ice cream bar Paradis Gelateria

Take the kids to the ice cram place Paradis Gelateria. You will find two ice cream bars in the area, one in the bay and one out on Sørenga. Both offer a large selection of flavors of homemade Italian gelato that are made fresh every day. The choices are many with everything from fresh sorbets to exciting flavors and the good classics.
