Easter in Oslobukta

Easter is approaching and if you are planning a city Easter, there is a lot to do. Rent a kayak, join an Easter workshop, try an Easter box from Annis or take the children to MUNCH, where they can draw and explore the artist in them.

Annis Pølsemakeri

Have you visited Annis in Dronning Eufemias gate? The fresh produce and delicatessen shop has a large selection of meat, cheeses, special products from Norwegian producers and wild-caught fish and shellfish. They have also put together their own Easter boxes for those of you who want to treat yourself a little extra this Easter.

Friluftshuset

Would you like to rent a kayak or join a paddling course? DNT Friluftshuset at Sørenga is open at Easter, including public holidays. Here you can rent a kayak, go bouldering, join a paddling trip with an instructor or take a kayaking course in the Oslo Fjord.

Easter activities for children

Bring the children to Oslobukta, there is a lot of fun that is also suitable for the little ones. On the playground, they can swing on a pole, try their hand at the climbing walls and slide. At Deichman Bjørvika, they have a separate floor for children where they can read books and draw. Start Easter on Saturday 24 March with "Paper workshop med Shamna" from 13-15. Here the children can fold, bend, cut and create – and make their own Easter bunnies, rainbows or sweet flowers. They also have a cinema for children where you can see "MAVKA – The soul of the forest" on Saturday 24 March at 14 and Palm Sunday at 12 and at 14.

MUNCH also has lots of fun for children. At the museum, they have a separate floor for children where they can draw and explore the artist in them. On Saturday 24 March there will be an activity table in the lobby and "Children's art day workshop" from 10-14.15. On 27 and 28 March at 15 there is "Young: skateboard workshop workshop" where you can write and illustrate on skateboard decks.

Barcode Street Food

Head to the food hall in Dronning Eufemias street, Barcode Street Food. Here you will find food stalls with food experiences from all corners of the world and on the 2nd floor you will find a cocktail bar. Whether you are vegan, pescetarian or carnivore, there are many food experiences. The exciting food hall serves dishes from Peru, Mexico, Japan, India, Thailand, Portugal, Greece, Hawaii, China, Lebanon and Africa. The food stalls you find are carefully selected, with a strong concept and serve fantastic food made with quality ingredients.

At Easter, an Easter workshop will be organized on Sunday 24 March at 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. and an Easter egg hunt on Saturday 30 March at 11 to 16.

Daikai

Daikai is open on March 28 from 11 a.m. to 5.30 p.m., March 30 from 11 a.m. to 5.30 p.m. and the April 1st from 12 to 20. They are closed 29 March and 31 March.

Have lunch or dinner at a restaurant

How about going out to one of the many restaurants in the area? The selection is large and many are open at Easter.

Villa Paradiso is a popular choice for the whole family. The restaurant is located directly above Munch and offers Neapolitan pizza and real Italian food, served in an authentic Italian atmosphere. They are open every day during Easter. Palm Sunday from 12 to 21, 25 – 27 March from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., on March 28 – 29 from 12 to 21, Easter evening from 11 to 22 and 31 March and 1 April from 12 to 21.

At Sumo you get hot dishes from all over Asia, as well as Asian fusion with inspiration from America and Europe. The sushi kitchen has classic sushi and Sumo's own playful fusion sushi. Sumo is open every day from 15 to 21 (Easter evening 30 March until 10 pm).

Or how about Mexican? Coyo is open throughout Easter, weekdays from 16 to 23. On Saturday and Sunday they are open for lunch from 13. Another place for lunch is Dapper Bistro. They are closed on weekdays, but are open for lunch on Saturday 30 March.

Hammerhai Bar is open all Easter, so you can enjoy a good drink or two in the sun or before or after dinner!
