New opening: Indian Street Food & Co

Welcome the newly opened Indian Street Food & Co at Sørenga! A modern Indian cuisine inspired by food stalls in the streets of India.

The restaurant, which seats 150 guests, offers everything from affordable Indian classics – much-loved street food like kathi rolls and samosas – to a twelve-course menu of flavors and textures that showcase all that is exquisitely unique about Indian cuisine.

Guests can come for a light snack, an all-nighter or drinks and snacks in one of the three bars. The venue is elegant and modern, with Nordic wood and handmade ceramics, designed to let the food take center stage. Something it does, with sky-high ambitions and local ingredients.

– We start each dining experience with a kind of flavor bomb. You get a little piece of India, with all flavors from mint to saffron and cardamom. After that, you're happy – and ready for just about anything, says head chef Dheeraj Singh.

The goal for Dheeraj Singh, who has run a restaurant in Sweden since 2014, has always been to raise the level of the Indian dining experience in Scandinavia. A true gastronomic innovator, he now combines Indian and Scandinavian flavors in ways that make his audience very happy. It is his way of reinventing what he loves, but also a personal view of sustainability. Makes a lasting impression with minimal impact, blending the flavors of childhood with modern flavors. And make every guest feel at home!
