Do you enjoy swimming, even in winter? Then you have to go to the Oslo badstueforening. With them you will find good bathing opportunities and, not least, delicious saunas. For example, you can start the day here with friends or colleagues, or do it as a weekend activity with family or friends.
Oslo Badstueforening was formed in 2016, by anarchists who joined forces with diplomats from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs' ice bath club. It all started with the sauna raft Måken, which was built from driftwood found in Bjørvika. Since then, the popularity of saunas and ice baths has increased considerably.
After a refreshing bath and a trip to the sauna, we can recommend a visit to one of the cafes or restaurants in the area. Warm up, for example, at Open Bakery or Good Bread, lots of good food and, not least, lots of good drink!
