Autumn rainwear with Norwegian Rain

Inspired by Japanese sensibility and life in the rainy city of Bergen. In Operagata you will find award-winning Norwegian design at Norwegian Rain & T-Michael.

Autumn is here with crisper air and rainy days. In Operagata you will find Norwegian Rain with 100% waterproof outerwear, inspired by Japanese sensibility and life in the rainiest city in Europe, Bergen.

Norwegian Rain was started 15 years ago by T-Michael and Alexander Helle who designed their first raincoat that was 100% waterproof, breathable, recycled and stylish. They have based themselves on traditional tailoring techniques, 'Japanese sensibilities' and high-tech innovative solutions. The essence is that the collection is built on T Michael's tailoring expertise. All the technology is hidden, so it's just as good in the sun as in pouring rain. The balance is in the design.

After doing this for 15 years, they have become known for their waterproof jackets, coats, coats and ponchos – all functional, without compromising on design. During Oslo Runway, Norwegian Rain received the prestigious Tribute Award 2024.

Now comes a new double-tensioned retake on an earlier model. It comes in a new version where they have used old military tents in the garments. Norwegian Rain is concerned with reuse and sustainability. It's a peaceful take on turning the military into something everyday. Slightly more than 50% of the collection is unisex. And at the next drop there will be thicker jackets, with winter function. There will also be a lot of other exciting things, such as skirts that are unisex. These are also waterproof and can act as an extension of the rain jacket.

Take a trip to those in Operagata and see the range of outerwear, inspired by Japanese sensibility and life in rainy Bergen.
