The shop / gallery opened with the exhibition "The King Herself" by hyper-current Nicole Rafiki – curated by T-Michael. The artist recently exhibited at the Autumn Exhibition and is known for his strong images that challenge themes and issues related to women, racism and forced migration.
Behind the Norwegian Rain brand are T-Michael and Alexander Helle, together they founded Norwegian Rain brought to life through collaboration between local expertise from the creative scene in Bergen.
The founder Alexander Helle was born and raised in Bergen, a city that has more rainy days than sunny days. This is also the background for the rain jackets, which are 100% waterproof.
