Crisp autumn air and art

Autumn is beautiful, especially on days when the sun shines in the water and the autumn colors really come out. Bring your coffee and take a walk through Kulturgata. Visit KÖSK, a gallery for young Norwegian contemporary art. Here you can see the exhibition "Det Rimer" by Ingrid Lønningdal and Eigil Forberg, which runs until 27 October. Close by is QSPA, which houses some of H.M. Queen Sonja's own works, in addition to selected works by various artists from around the world. The current exhibition is "Kayo Mpoyi: All our mothers have been swallowed by the water exploring." VI, VII specialize in international contemporary art. They are getting ready for a new and exciting exhibition. From 25 October you can see Bjarne Melgaard in collaboration with Bjørn Kristian Hilberg (Malbrum) with the exhibition "Abuse is the Beauty of the Working Class".

Kunsthall Oslo is located in Barcode, where you can see Lars Holdhus's first solo exhibition in Norway, "Where Oil Is First Found Is in the Minds of Men". In the exhibition, he explores the concept of petromasculinity – taken from Cara Daggett – a nexus of identities and ideologies linking fossil fuels, technology, neo-colonial exploitation and patriarchal power.
