Friluftshuset belongs to DNT Oslo and Omegn and is an inspiration and gathering place for those who want to be active in and around Oslo. Here you can join yoga courses and inspiration evenings, rock out in the bouldering room, take courses, get a tour guide and buy practical equipment. You may have seen many people kayaking in the area? At Friluftshuset, you can also sign up for a kayak course, rent a kayak or join a guided kayak trip. To rent a kayak and paddle on your own, you must have an NPF wet card. You can also rent SUP boards, which have become very popular. If you are looking for a room for meetings, conferences or companies, they have a separate rental room that is rented out to both private individuals and companies.



Sørenga has many bathing opportunities, the most famous being the popular Sørenga sea bath at the far end of Sørenga.
