Just by the stasjonsallmenningen, into Operagata, you will find the part we call Culture street with several galleries. From around 11 o'clock the galleries are open and you can explore exhibitions with everything from Norwegian contemporary art, to graphic art and international contemporary art.
At KÖSK you can see exhibitions with some of the best in Norwegian contemporary art. The gallery wants to provide Norwegian professional artists in the establishment phase with a display space, a dissemination platform and good conditions for art production.
Right now you can see the exhibition "Fade proof external aluminium" by Bill Billekvist. This can be experienced until 02 February. From 07 February to 02 March, Christophe Lennox will be exhibiting.
You will find them at Operagata 63 A.
QSPA Gallery is the foundation H.M. Queen Sonja's artist grant and aims to create interest in and stimulate the development of graphic art. At QSPA, you can see unique, high-quality art prints by various artists from around the world. QSPA Bispevika wants to highlight the wonderful things that can be found in art printing today and make it more accessible to the public. In the gallery you can also see some of H.M. Queen Sonja's own artwork.
Right now the exhibition "Soejvene / Shadows" by Tomas Colbengtson is being shown. The gallery is open by appointment Monday to Wednesday, 12-7pm Thursday and 12-5pm Friday to Sunday.

VI, VII is a gallery specializing in international contemporary art. The gallery represents, among others, artists such as Jorunn Hancke Øgstad, Landon Metz and Eva LeWitt. They also offer independent art consultancy services for building up and managing art collections.
From 01 February you will find a new exhibition at VI, VII. Then you can see a solo exhibition by Eliza Douglas.
You can find them at Operagata 75 A.
Outside Culture street, but not far away (Rostockgata 2-4), you will find Kunsthall Oslo, which is a non-commercial art gallery. Norwegian and international contemporary art is shown here, with an emphasis on new productions.
The next exhibition at Kunsthall opens on 31 January at 19:00. This is an exhibition by Ali Shah Gallefoss, here he will combine new sculptures and handmade furniture in a total installation that transforms the room into an imagined domestic environment.
