Photo Exhibition by Morten Andresen: Shady Characters

July 4 – August 10
The exhibition is titled Shady Characters and features Morten’s most popular silhouette photos from Oslo – with many of the city’s colorful buildings and apartment blocks serving as the backdrop. Opening: July 4th at Mike’s Corner, and the exhibition will be on display until August 10th. On Friday, July 4th, the opening will take place at 6 PM with a small party at Mike’s Corner.

Shady Characters is a street photography exhibition by Morten Andresen, consisting of colorful silhouette images taken in Oslo over the past five years. The photos capture fleeting moments in the city's streets, where light, color, and architecture take center stage – and people appear as dark figures in contrast to their surroundings.

The exhibition is a tribute to the colorful facades that characterize Oslo, and explores how shadows and silhouettes can give the subjects a new visual expression – in an otherwise busy and everyday setting.
