Stop → Kösk
Exhibition Opening – May 29, 6–8 PM
ITAKA – Terje Abusdal
The exhibition ITAKA consists of a series of photographs and a spatial sound installation, based on material gathered over seven years of travel across Europe to the beaches of the Greek islands.
The work is an open and ambiguous exploration of the Nordic dream of sun, warmth, and adventure – where a romanticized longing for a carefree life by the Mediterranean intertwines with the geopolitical realities shaping the continent today.
Stop → QSPA – The Queen Sonja Print Award
For fifteen years, the Queen Sonja Print Award has brought artists together through shared creative processes, and it is these encounters that the anniversary exhibition is all about.
Collaborations present works created through close artistic dialogue between H.M. Queen Sonja and invited artists, where ideas, techniques, and visual expressions have been exchanged and developed over time.
Opening on May 28, the exhibition offers a unique insight into printmaking as an art form and collaboration as a creative method.
Join us for the opening evening from 6–8 PM!
The gallery will also have extended opening hours during Oslo Art Weekend:
May 29: 12:00–18:00
May 30: 12:00–17:00
