Art experiences at MUNCH

Visit MUNCH and experience the breadth of Edvard Munch's artistry, contemporary art and world-class international exhibitions. During the autumn holidays, an autumn holiday workshop is organized for children aged 3-12 accompanied by an adult. Here, together with fashion designer and textile artist Leon Lindgren, the children can take inspiration from the exhibitions and "draw with cloth", create imaginative and strange images on bags and other things that they can wear or carry with them during the autumn holidays.

Deichman Bjørvika

Another exciting place to visit is Deichman Bjørvika, which is Oslo's entire main library. Six floors with literature, reading and study spaces, stages, cinema hall and workshops for young and old. There is a lot of exciting things going on during the autumn holidays, including an autumn holiday workshop, holiday cinema and biblio book show. Explore the galleries

There are several galleries with exhibitions in the area. Just by Stasjonsallmenningen, into Operagata you will find the part we call Kulturgata with KÖSK, QSPA and VI, VII. From around 11 o'clock the galleries are open and you can explore exhibitions with everything from Norwegian contemporary art, to graphic art and international contemporary art. Also visit Kunsthall Oslo, which is an independent exhibition venue for Norwegian and international contemporary art.

Combine activities with lunch

There are many places to eat in the area. Just above MUNCH is Villa Paradiso, a family favorite serving Italian pizza and pasta. Or how about sushi at Sumo restaurant?
