On this occasion, we have had a chat with Lena at Bjørvika Blomster. The store will soon be celebrating 3 years in Operagata, a lot has happened since they opened their doors in Operagata as the first store here.
Back then there was a pandemic and lockdown with a home office, and still a construction site at the end of Operagata. When I think about it, I don't understand that I dared, but now I am so proud of what we have achieved together, my employees and I. Today, our shop is well established, with many lovely customers from the local area and all of Oslo. We have flowers for all occasions, and welcome everyone. – Says Lena, Bjørvika Blomster
We are entering a blooming and beautiful time, and of the flowers that are in season right now, we can mention buttercups, anemones, beautiful tulips (for a little while longer), viburnum, peonies, licorice and lilac. All of these abound at Bjørvika Blomster, of course.
At Bjørvika Blomster they have many beautiful bouquets and BB bunches which are very popular. These are usually a mix of different flowers in different colors adapted to the season. And they can also make the bouquet as you wish.
Now it may seem that the sun and a bit of heat are here to stay, and then many people's fingers itch to start decorating balconies, terraces and outdoor spaces. It is still too early for the summer flowers, if you are not good at covering them with fiber cloth or bring them inside at night if it gets too cold.
But there is much that can be put out already now. Stepmor is available in many beautiful colors and can withstand a couple of minus degrees. The same applies to onion plants, ivy, buttercups and some green bushes. You can find all of these at Bjørvika Blomster.
This week they also bring in, among other things, boxwood, lilac and bamboo, and many people are looking forward to that. Some of them cannot withstand frost, and may need to be covered. Feel free to ask the good employees in the store for advice and recommendations.
