Madonna Oslo has opened!

Late summer this year, Madonna Oslo opened the doors to the new restaurant by the waterfront.

The name of the restaurant comes both from Edvard Munch's Madonna, but also from the pop icon Madonna. They wanted to play a bit on the playfulness and creativity from pop culture, but at the same time draw recognition to the location of the restaurant.

The menu has no fixed concept, the chefs draw inspiration from all over the world and mix it without restrictions into a menu that can consist of both larger and smaller dishes. The idea with Madonna's menu is that the guest puts together what they want to eat.

"After we worked for a long time with both tasting menus and small sharing dishes, this will be something completely different", say Svein and Sara, who are the founders of Madonna.

Great focus on quality ingredients, of course, but preparation, flavors and textures come in many different variations on the menu.

Madonna also places great emphasis on lunch, and on Friday and Saturday a 3-course lunch is served in addition to an a'la carte menu.
