Spring is approaching and we have had a chat with the concept perfumery Heaven Scent about spring perfumes. They handpick the best luxury, niche and cult brands from around the world and carry a selective selection. Many of the brands you find here are the exclusive distributors of in Norway.

Bibbi – a new brand at Heaven Scent

A new brand that you will find at Heaven Scent is Bibbi, established by Stina "Bibbi" Seger in 2023. In its deep blue fragrance universe, each perfume is inspired by her meditative travels, and each fragrance carries a unique story from her inner world. Heaven Scent recommends the fragrance Radio Child, which is perfect for spring. It is a mysterious and memorable fragrance inspired by the story of a young piano talent who received private lessons from Beethoven in 18th century Vienna. Radio Child has fruity notes of pear, peach and a little pepper, before the heart notes of jasmine petals and fig bring out a soft, green freshness. The base combines cashmere wood, oakmoss and salty musk, which gives the fragrance an earthy depth. A warm, elegant and at the same time unique scent.

A bouquet of spring

Another spring fragrance is Mimosa from Les Eaux Primordiales. Founded by Arnaud Poulain in 2015 who believes that perfume is the most beautiful way to express a person's unique identity. He created Mimosa as a tribute to his mother. The fragrance is reminiscent of a Mediterranean wedding at the end of winter. The last snowflakes land on the mimosa flower like a cloud of icing sugar. A cold fragrance with notes of jasmine, orange blossom and mimosa like a delicate spring bouquet.

A soft and mysterious unisex perfume

The French perfumer Barnabé Fillion has taken the universe of fragrance a step further, creating perfumes with more than just the sense of smell. The unisex fragrance Matter from Arpa Studios is soft, musky and mysterious. A fragrance that explores the fusion of light and matter, and invites you to a sensory journey through abstract landscapes. The name “Matter” reflects the fragrance’s focus on materiality and existence.

Lilac in bloom, a spring classic

Last but not least, Heaven Scent recommends the spring classic En Passant from Editions De Parfums Frederic Malle. En Passant is like passing a bush of lilacs in bloom. A streamlined lilac accord with a hint of cucumber absolute gives the perfume an airy freshness, in combination with warm and leathery notes of wheat, cedar and white musk.
