Located between the fjord and mountains on Sunnmøre, almost 170 years ago, Devold became a supplier of high-quality woolen garments to polar explorers and workers along the Norwegian coast. Already in the 19th century, Devold’s iconic garments, such as Blaatrøia, were a significant Norwegian export.
Today, Devold is an exclusive wool brand with a strong focus on sustainability, natural materials and ethical production. Wool comes from a small number of carefully selected farmers in New Zealand, South America and Norway – and the garments are knitted at Devold’s own factory in Europe. Welcome!
